Take any sport you want and the philosophy that you can have the best game plan in the world but if you are not good at the basics—blocking/tackling for football, throwing/catching for baseball(softball) or stroke technique in swimming as examples, you are probably not going to win the game. Same can be said of the game of wealth accumulation. Certainly not the fun part of becoming financially successful but in this month’s article I wanted to motivate you to make 2021 the year you worked on the basics in your financial plan as a critical part of your financial TODO list.
